WELCOME
Hello, I’m Angela, and with kin and friends, I go by Angie. After becoming a mother in 2016, I was inspired to embark on a journey and ongoing study of the nervous system—quite specifically what qualities create the conditions for bonding, repair, and health to arise while healing postpartum and integrating the intimacies of threshold moments at any age and stage of life. My curiosity led me to studying with Anna and John Chitty as well as Ray Castellino. I became a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) and now specialize in Working with Babies and Healing Early Imprints. Currently I am moved to find my seat in the study and practice of post-trauma physiology with Alchemical Alignment.
Prior to my initiation into motherhood and somatic-based practices, I was an early childhood and primary Waldorf and earth-based educator which has been a generous support and foundation to my practice. And at the root, I am blessed for my dynamic upbringing as a mixed blooded woman of Mexican American and Scandinavian American ancestry born on Turtle Island. With a full heart, I bow to my late maternal grandmother, Gloria Gonzales Huerta, for she taught me, in so few words, how to tend hearth, home, and spirit simply by working with the elements, seasons, and weaving earth-based traditions into everyday life. Today I am inspired by and carry those memories forward as a student in advanced practices through the generous lineage and teachings of Miss Beatrice Torres Waight of the Yucatec Maya and my teacher, Ann Drucker.
Since then, I’ve had the honor of meeting and sharing my healing arts practice with people along the human continuum from newborn babies to adults. My office is located in Boulder, CO. I offer in-home visits for 1st-4th trimester care as well as bereavement. Outside of my practice, I am living a deeply textured life—full of it all with my husband, our two children, and pup. My life is fed while out exploring natural and wild water sources, strength training, gardening, enjoying a delicious meal with loved ones and caught off guard by a good laugh. With deep respect for what it means to be human, I look forward to meeting you there.
In heart,
Angela
In Yucatec Maya tradition, a baby’s first bath is made of rainwater and flowers.

Angie’s work is so deep and powerful.
She skillfully integrates her own embodied presence with the ancient teachings of the linages she’s deeply studied to create a potent space for profound and subtle layers of healing to happen.
My sessions with her have felt transformative on a cellular and nervous system level, places that are hard to reach with other modalities.
I always leave her sessions feeling so held and cared for while also feeling as if my entire ancestral team blessed me into a renewed and resourced body. The impact sustains over time and integrates in ways that are both mysterious and masterful.

We love the work that Angie offers our son. She holds a gentle, patient space for him to enter and surrender into her care. She knows exactly how to be with children - a nurturing Earth Mama at heart. After a session, our son is always more calm, regulated and embodied.
We are so grateful for the gift of deep nourishment she brings to our son’s being every time he sees her.

Angie guided me and my husband through a beautiful Yucatec Maya healing experience in the comfort of our home shortly after our three day old baby boy passed away. In such a tender time, she provided exactly the kind of sensitive, attuned, intuitive, compassionate and highly skilled healing work that we so desperately needed. I felt so fully held, and it was unlike any healing work I had ever experienced.
I highly recommend Angie and her work—you can fully trust her to support your heart and body in restoring wellness.
